Both gamers and no gamers have felt the real-life desire of being God for a second to be able to change things and do whatever they want. Gamers, for instance, get the chance of being god in many videogames, some people call this ‘cheating’ while others see it as an alternative form of entertainment. Mods and cheats are interesting ways to enhance videogames, and 3dSunshine is bringing a new one to the Virtual Reality world.

Create and Change Worlds with your Imagination and 3DSunshine

Imagine using a pair of Vive controllers to easily create massive structures in Minecraft, or a spectacular –FLOATING- highway that crosses the entire state of San Andreas and spirals around Los Santos’ skyscrapers in GTA V. Possibilities are infinite, and that’s the best about imagination, it never runs out, so this kind of entertainment is potentially game changing.

3dSunshine is somewhat inspired in Tilt Brush, a tool that allows you to paint in 3D with virtual reality. The main difference is that you can completely modify and create worlds in videogames using 3dSunshine. You can move buildings, add objects, mess with everything and start all over again. You can literally change the world and relive it however you want.

One of the most interesting features of 3dSunshine is that you can even move objects from a game to another one. You can pick a giant tile-mountain in Minecraft and place it in the middle of a big avenue and walk (or drive, fly, crash) over it as you would do with any other object in the GTA universe.

3dSunshine Is Changing Games and Possibly More

Right now the tool can only be used with Minecraft and GTA V, but 3dSunshine is planning on bringing this godly tool to many other videogames. They claim the future of 3dSunshine is expansive, and there are reasons to believe it is. Because even though it is only limited to the HTC Vive and only 2 titles, it has potential to change the world of gaming and virtual reality.

Exploiting people’s imagination have proved to be successful for many companies and society as a whole. Decades ago we were amazed by funny images we used to make in Paint, now we are looking at a vast and unlimited world of possibilities.

Steven Schkolne

“As a lot of people with what we’re doing and it just doesn’t fit inside the box of what you’re supposed to be doing, but it doesn’t matter what people think, it doesn’t matter what the world says, we have the technology here today to do this and gamers are going crazy for what the technology can do, and we’re going to change the world.”
